Lipscomb Academy (Tenn.) quarterback Hank Brown was previously committed to Liberty when Hugh Freeze was the head coach, now he'll join Freeze in the SEC at Auburn after announcing his commitment to the Tigers on Tuesday.
From June 16th to December 3rd, Brown was committed to Liberty but naturally backed off his pledge to the Flames when Freeze took the Auburn job.
Freeze invited the three-star signal-caller to Auburn for an unofficial visit on December 10th to get familiar with the Tigers program. While an offer wasn't immediately extended during the visit, one came on December 19th.
It didn't take long for Brown to jump on the opportunity to play in the SEC.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound prospect is coming off a monster senior season, throwing for
leading his Lipscomb Academy team to a DII-AA state championship, a perfect 13-0 season, throwing for 3,264 yards with 47 touchdowns against just three interceptions while leading his team to a DII-AA state championship, a perfect 13-0 season, and No. 13 national ranking.
