Patton returns from UCLA visit

Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge quarterback Chase Patton took his first official visit of the year over this weekend with a trip to California to see UCLA.
"The visit went really well," the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Patton said. "It was my first visit. I don't have anything to compare it to, yet. This visit will be a great one to compare things to."

Patton was not the only top signal caller on the visit to Los Angeles.
"I was there with two other quarterbacks," the four-star rated Patton said. "Matt Tuiasosopo and Erik Ainge were there too. I thought that would be a weird situation to be in with them there. But, when I was there, it turned out to be alright.
"I knew Tuiasosopo from the Elite 11 camp. And I got to know Ainge on this visit. Erik and I will be at Tennessee next weekend together. He and I are staying in touch. We are not trying to keep it a secret as to where we are going. We'll keep each other informed."
Patton was able to see what went on in the life of a player at UCLA.
"I got to sit in on some team meetings while I was there," he said. "I got to see the inside story on what they go through on a game day. Then after the game I was able to spend som time with players and coaches after the game."
Patton remains open to all of the schools on his list.
"I'm still open to everything," the nation's No. 2 rated dual-threat signal caller said. "This visit will be a great one to compare things to after each of my next four trips."
Tennessee will host Patton Nov. 21, Iowa will have their chance on Dec. 5. He will visit Missouri officially on Dec. 12 and his last trip will be to Kansas State on Dec. 19.
