The Missouri Tigers now have two All-American commitments.

Missouri defensive end commitment Michael Keck had already earned a spot to play in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. He was joined by offensive line commitment Jayson Palmgren of North Kansas City, Mo., on Wednesday. The game will be played Jan. 4 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Rivals.com is the official selection partner for the game that will feature 80 of the nation's top prospects in an East versus West format. The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU.

Now Tiger fans get to watch two of their future players in the game.

"I never thought I would get an invite," he said. "I'm confident in myself, but I know there are a lot of other really good players. It's a really big honor. I'm excited that Rivals.com invited me."

For Palmgren, this will be a great opportunity to showcase his game on a national stage. One of the country's top run blockers, Palmgren committed to Missouri in late September. He had offers from Arkansas, Kansas and Kansas State. He was recently offered a scholarship by Oklahoma, but says he's a solid Mizzou commitment.

So what will fans see from him?

"They're going to see people on the other side of the ball on the ground," Palmgren said. "I think I got a lot better as a senior. I did all right in the first game, and then next two I didn't do so well. But when I committed, and the pressure was off me, then I really got focused and things started to go a lot better. I'm excited to see how I compare against the other players in the country.

"But you can count on guys being on the ground from some big blocks."

North Kansas City coach Chad Valadez said he knows Palmgren will live up to that promise.

"He just has great footwork and great hands," Valadez said. "In my opinion, he's one of the most dominating run-blocking offensive linemen that I've ever been around in high school. He's just extremely physical and he has the ability to get down the field to the second and third level consistently. Once he gets on a guy, he just destroys him."
