Fredericksburg (Va.) Chancellor offensive tackle Sam Marshall is sitting on two scholarships. The 6-foot-9, 246-pounder is out on the camp circuit and has already made his way through three camps.
"I've just been at camps, I went to South Carolina last weekend," he said. "I went to Duke Saturday and NC State on Sunday.
"I thought I performed well. The defensive line coach at Duke was pretty impressed with me and talked to my coach. Coach Willis at NC State was impressed and said he'd talk to my coach. Both said they'd be in contact."

Marshall plans to camp at North Carolina on Monday followed by Virginia next week and Virginia Tech in July. Marshall is also looking at a trip to Western Michigan sometime this summer.
At this time, Marshall claims offers from East Carolina and Western Michigan.
With two offers and others interested, doe the lineman favor anybody?
"It's still kind of too hard to say, but I'm liking everything I'm seeing," he stated. "I'd like wherever I go to have a pretty strong football program and good academics."
