OT MacMillan visits UVA

Offensive tackle Nolan MacMillan rolled through Charlottesville this weekend. The 6-foot-6, 284-pound prep prospect out of Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School discussed the trip and what is next.
"It was a good trip, I liked it," he said. "I toured the campus, met with the strength and position coaches. I got to meet all the recruits there this weekend. It was their biggest weekend by far with 21 recruits on campus.

"I also got to tour the school with Coach Price and had an academic meeting."
MacMillan spent a fair amount of time with the players including his host, Austin Pasztor.
"Austin was a very nice guy," he said. "He's another Canadian linemen like me, we got along well and it was a good trip.
"He started seven games as a true freshman and talked about the transition and how to prepare myself to be in the best situation and ready for everything come summer."
While he spent time with the players, MacMillan also met with the coaches.
"Coach Price talked about what some goals are and stuff like that," he said. "I also met with Coach Borbely. He's a really good coach and everyone speaks highly of him.
"I have a good relationship with him and feel comfortable talking to him."
Before heading out, the three-star prospect met with head coach Al Groh.
"It was good," he said. "We sat down and he talked about how he's been there awhile and reiterated how much he believes in the program and where things can go."
What is next for MacMillan?
"I'm going to Boston College on Friday," he said. "I have no other visits planned. I'm not sure if I'm going to visit Syracuse or not. I might.
"I do want to go to Boston College because it's a school I was aware of in Canada. They have expressed an interested in me and they are noted for their offensive linemen and it's a Catholic liberal arts education. I'm Catholic and it's strong academically. My family lives near there too."
