New school making big push with Lobdell

Recruiting has been heating up for four-star wide receiver Lavar Lobdell of Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, N.Y.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound four-star recruit has recently received scholarship offers from some of the top football programs in the country. Lobdell says that a new school has jumped into the mix with an offer and is now on his short list.

"[Miami] has always been one of my dream schools," Lobdell said. "Actually (Monday) night I did receive word that they officially offered me.
"There's just a bunch of great guys down there," Lobdell said of the Hurricanes. "I've got ties down there ... I'm also looking forward to going down there on a visit this coming January."
