NC linebacker has two offers

Linebacker Max Gruder out of Charlotte (N.C.) Charlotte Country Day has added two offers. Who does the 6-foot-2, 227-pounder hold offers from and does he have any favorites?

"I picked up offers late this summer from Rice and Western Michigan," he said. "It's good to get offers from both, they are Division I schools and Rice is a very good school academically. I like Western Michigan a lot too because they have some real nice facilities and I like my recruiter, coach White. He's a regular guy from North Carolina."

Plenty of other schools are showing interest in Gruder.

"Pittsburgh, North Carolina State and Central Florida are talking to me," he said. "All three of those schools like what they see out of me. They are just waiting for more tape on me."

The North Carolina prospect is hoping to hold off on a decision for a while.

"I definitely want to do it later, but if the right school offers me I might jump on board."
