Muldrow schedules his third official

Three-star offensive tackle Richard Muldrow already has visits planned to West Virginia and Rutgers. The York (Pa.) William Penn lineman has scheduled a third visit in-state in January.
"I've scheduled another official to Penn State on January 19th," he said. "I also have visits to West Virginia this weekend and Rutgers next weekend. I'm deciding between Virginia, Illinois and Purdue for my last two official visits."

With his first official coming this week, what is the 6-foot-6, 293-pounder looking for out of the Mountaineers?
"Every school I go to I'm looking at the academics," he said. "I've already seen what everyone offers for football. I want to check out the student life, academics and what fields they are strong in. I also want to see what my chances are of making it to the NFL if I go there."
Muldrow is pretty familiar with the West Virginia after visiting them last weekend for their overtime victory over Rutgers.
"That was a good game that went to triple overtime," he said. "Both teams impressed me a lot and Rutgers is definitely a school to look out for. As far as West Virginia, the crowd was really hyped up a lot. It was fun and everybody there was pumped. I didn't get a chance to talk to coach Rodriguez, but coach Trickett met with me and asked how I'm doing.
"I had a good conversation with him. We talked about what's going on there and he said he can't wait to see me next week. They didn't directly say anything to me about all the coaching rumors, but from what I hear they aren't going anywhere."
