More offers are in for CB Harris

Cornerback Ronnie Harris out of Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake is continuing to collect offers. The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder is up to six offers at this time with plenty more colleges intrigued.
"I have six offers from South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Harvard (spot) and Auburn," he said. "Auburn and Tennessee are my most recent.

"I believe I got Auburn last Tuesday and then Tennessee on March 3rd. I was actually going to Auburn and was going to surprise them with a visit recently, but the bus driver got lost and only got to spend 10 minutes there."
More visits are coming for Harris in the next few weeks.
"I'm going to Tennessee on March 27th and I'll be visiting Oregon during my spring break April 5th through the 10th," he stated. "I'm actually going to be visiting my brother who lives up in Washington."
Harris believes even more offers could be coming soon.
"My next offer might be from Oregon, they've been in contact," he said. "I'm also hearing from Kentucky, Duke, Miami, Arkansas, Georgia and Georgia Tech."
According to the Peach State prospect he's staying wide open, but he is impressed especially by four of his offers.
"The South Carolina offer really meant a lot since they were the first one," he said. "I've been in contact with them and went down to their junior day. They set the standard for academics and football needs. I've always liked Tennessee since I could remember. Michael Taylor went there and I went up with him and loved the atmosphere. Ole Miss is a great SEC football team and Harvard is a privileged academic school."
With plenty of interest coming in, what does Harris want in a college?
"I'm basically looking for stability and academics," he said. "Academics are first in my house. If I get anything lower than an 85, I have to show I'm giving all I've got. I'm not just going for football; I'm going to get a quality education and a school that wants me for me."
