Junior to Watch: Chase Patton
School: Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge

Size and Speed: Patton is 6-foot-4 and 205-pounds. He has been clocked at 4.70 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Position: Quarterback
Statistics: As a junior, Patton hooked up on 186 of his 355 passes for 2,670 yards and 23 touchdowns.
Favorite Schools: At this point, no school ranks as the favorite, but several are showing strong early interest. Missouri, Marshall, Michigan, Iowa, Kansas and Kansas State are pursuing Patton at this point. The Tigers are the only school with a scholarship offer extended at this time.
Skinny: Patton will be one of the state of Missouri's top performers in the Class of 2004 according to Rock Bridge assistant coach A.J. Ofodile.
"He's going to be a very good quarterback," Ofodile said. "I've been around this game for a long time as a player and a coach. He has very good tools for a quarterback, especially at this early stage of his career."
Patton is holding a scholarship offer from the hometown Missouri Tiger squad.
"I know Missouri has offered," Ofodile said. "He has interest in them, but he wants to look at some other schools too. A lot of schools have expressed interest."
