Who said things are boring early in the month of February in recruiting? Just ask Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge quarterback Chase Patton about that.
According to his coach, things are getting very interested and exciting – especially with new scholarship offers coming out of the woodworks.

“There are some new developments,” Rock Bridge coach Anselm Ofodile said.
“K-State offered Chase yesterday and Iowa might offer very soon. Plus, two other new schools have called and expressed serious interest. They are Notre Dame and Virginia.”
Patton, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound dual-threat quarterback, should be one of the nation’s best this upcoming season. He already had an offer from Missouri on the table.
“I know Missouri has offered," Ofodile said. "He has interest in them, but he wants to look at some other schools too. A lot of schools have expressed interest."
