Stewart recently reclassified from the 2026 cycle into the 2025 class, speeding up his recruitment greatly. The newly updated No. 4 prospect in the Rivals250 has official visits set to LSU, USC, Ohio State, and Oregon with the potential for more to be added to that slate over the next six to eight weeks.
LSU being the home-state program has kept it as the assumed longtime leader. But USC and Ohio State have each certainly had reasons to feel good about their chances. Stewart is more than comfortable with the contenders in the mix, visiting each multiple times this calendar year.
Stewart is the most high-profile recruitment to watch the rest of the year.
Prediction: LSU
There has been a three-team battle among Texas, Nebraska and Oregon brewing for a few months now for Terry. The belief is the Longhorns lead the race with Cornhuskers falling in second.
Terry has taken official visits to all three programs so any further trips are on his dime, Texas of course being the easiest for the San Antonio-based prospect. Terry has taken unofficial game visits to both Austin and Lincoln this season, making his way to Oregon in July most recently.
Nebraska will do everything it can possibly do, but right now it seems likely he stays closer to home.
Prediction: Texas
Kansas and Arkansas looked to be in the best standing for the Houston (Texas) North Shore prospect but as his original Sept. 30 commitment date approached, UTSA emerged as a favorite. But just days before he was set to make his announcement, he pushed the date back, as UCLA was interested and wanting Deblanc hold off on an announcement.
Deblanc does not have a new commitment date in mind, but sometime during the season is expected. Because he has not yet visited UCLA, I think it remains likely he stays close to home.
Prediction: UTSA
The most recent decommitment in the Mid-South, Anderson backed off his longtime Notre Dame pledge. Because Anderson committed early, there were not many offers extended, at least publicly. So while Arizona, Washington, and Tennessee have gotten buzz as programs looking to add a running back, I am only going off of programs that have offered for right now.
Toledo has been the first program to extend an offer since he decommitment.
Prediction: Toledo
This list is supposed to be for uncommitted prospects only, but the four listed above are the lone four in the region who are ranked in the state rankings that remain uncommitted. Of the 135 ranked prospects in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas, four are committed.
This leaves Rogers making the list, and he is picking up a ton of buzz for a potential flip from Missouri to Texas A&M. The No. 77 prospect was in College Station for the convincing victory over the Tigers, to whom he committed in July.
When he committed, there were already questions raised of whether the pledge would stick. As of today, I would say there is a likely chance he makes a move.
Prediction: Texas A&M
