Henry just finished his fourth official visit over the weekend by taking in the South Carolina game against Florida. Henry had lots of good things to say about his time in Columbia and the Gamecocks certainly put their best foot forward. Coach Will Muschamp made it very clear to Henry that he will have a great opportunity to play and play often as a freshman if he were to choose the Gamecocks. South Carolina has been looking up at Clemson, Virginia Tech and Georgia throughout Henry's recruitment and it appears that the distance between those three and South Carolina has shrunk. It's unlikely South Carolina has jumped any of those three schools, but South Carolina definitely made a great impression.

Alabama is the fifth school involved with Henry and it will surely get an official visit from the five-star defensive end sometime before his commitment on Dec. 20. That official visit will likely come in December. Alabama is playing from behind right now but all bets are off when the Crimson Tide are able to get one of their top targets on campus for an official visit.

Friday’s senior season came to a close this past weekend and he has now turned his attention to his recruitment. Last week he released a top five of Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and UCLA. Michigan seems to be in the best position right now but Friday is getting ready to take all of his official visits. Ohio State will get his first official visit this weekend but look for Friday to take a few more before the dead period starts in December. January will be busy for Friday as well but expect a commitment from Friday in the days prior to National Signing Day.

With his ACL surgery and official visit to N.C. State behind him, North Carolina commit Payton Wilson is getting ready for this weekend’s trip to South Bend. The Fighting Irish staff has been working very hard to bring Wilson in for an official visit. Defensive coordinator Mike Elko and linebackers coach Clark Lea have long-standing relationships with Wilson since they were coaching at Wake Forest and they hope they can capitalize on those strong bonds.

There is a lot of pressure on Wilson to remain committed to North Carolina but N.C. State is making it very difficult for the Tar Heels. He really enjoyed his official visit to N.C. State and there is a decent chance he ends up flipping to the Wolfpack.

North Carolina will get Wilson back on campus for an official visit in December before he signs during the early signing period.

Notre Dame is also working hard to flip Boykin. A four-star Maryland commit, the Fighting Irish are excited about what Boykin could bring to the defensive backfield. He enjoyed his official visit to South Bend and the Notre Dame coaches pushed all the right buttons. Maryland’s strong relationships with Boykin and his family go back a long way and, even though Maryland isn’t having a great season, it’s hard to see him flipping to another school.

Davis isn’t a big talker and does very few interviews. The Rivals250 prospect made his way to Georgia for an official visit for the South Carolina game. Davis really liked what he saw and people close to Davis believe the Dawgs are in the driver’s seat. Florida State and Miami had been pushing for Davis and now Oregon really wants to get him on campus. But it sounds like he could be joining the Georgia recruiting class in the next few weeks.
