Georgia got a big game from senior quarterback Aaron Murray and running back Todd Gurley led the rushing attack with a great effort.
That is something Michel was hoping to see after UGA fell in their season opener against Clemson. The five-star prospect said, " Athens was good. The running backs did what they needed to do to win."
Georgia's multiple offensive sets caught the eye of Michel and his family when he was researching schools for the right fit. That was a key factor for him when selecting Georgia.
"I like how they run the ball, " stated Michel. "They also play a lot of freshmen too."
For now, Michel doesn't have any other visit plans. He may go back to UGA again later in the fall, but he is still unsure.
The Rivals100 presented by Under Armour rusher has been to Georgia several times before. However, he said being there with the crowd in a big SEC experience is always great. Michel noted, "The best part of the trip was getting the game day experience."
This year, he has rushed for 279 yards and four touchdowns through three games. Michel is the No. 2 rated running back in the Rivals.com position rankings just behind Leonard Fournette.
