In a recent update, Harper said that the Canes had yet to stop by to check on him during the spring evaluation period. Harper said Thursday that a Miami assistant had come to watch him in the last week.
"We had a scrimmage and Miami came by," he said.
The Crimson Tide, Tigers, Ole Miss, Canes and Florida State all have shown interest in Harper.
Harper added that his cell phone has had some technical difficulties and that he has been unable to receive text messages during the past few months.
Harper added that he plans to camp at several schools this summer, but has not yet set his schedule.
"I am going to some camps," he said. "But I just don't know which ones right now."
