Four-star wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie of Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage has had an interesting recruiting process, which was definitely elevated to a new level after his performance at the Under Armour All-America Game. After trimming his list to Virginia Tech, Florida and Ole Miss, McKenzie made a surprise announcement on Signing Day and picked Georgia.
McKenzie, 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds, has proven himself to be one of the more dynamic players in this class with the ball in his hands. He is ranked as the No. 35 player nationally at his position and the No. 42 player in Florida.
Notre Dame was an early leader for McKenzie, but things did not work out in South Bend. Georgia offered on Monday and McKenzie jumped at the chance to joined high school teammate and Georgia commit Sony Michel.
