Reece McIntyre saw a teammate of his commit to Ole Miss last week and he is ready to do it himself this time.

It came down to three schools, but after his recent visit to Oxford, the Peach State offensive tackle knew he wanted to be a Rebel.

He is excited to end his recruitment with a commitment to Matt Luke.

IN HIS OWN WORDS

"I’ve visited Ole Miss once and I fell in love when I took the visit June 8," said McIntyre. "Missouri and NC State finished behind Ole Miss.

"I have a great relationship with coach Bicknell, coach Luke and coach McGriff, and I felt like home when I went on a visit. And I can see myself fitting in good at ole miss. Those are the main reasons I chose them.

"When I talked it over with my parents after feeling at home there on the visit is when I made the decision in my mind.

"The environment there is great. The Grove is the best tailgate in college football and their fans are so loyal.

"Coach Luke is a great coach. We have built a strong relationship over the whole recruiting process and I like him a lot.

"Carter Colquitt (committed to Ole Miss last week) is my boy and we play right next to each other this year... and he did recruit me a little bit.

"I am 100-percent committed to Ole Miss. It feels good to be committed. I ’m glad all the recruiting has stopped and I am settled in at one college.

RIVALS REACTION

Getting their second offensive lineman out of Buford, one of the top programs in all of his school football is not a bad things for the Rebels. McIntyre has a great frame, he is a strong lineman and he is smart in the treNches. He will come out prepared to compete for playing time in Oxford. The Rebels love to recruit the Peach State and they are having some success with offensive linemen there. It is not bad to build a pipeline to a play like Buford either. They produce top prospects year after year and McIntyre is one of their top guys in the 2019 class.
