Max Williams might be undersized but he has a tremendous competitive spirit and he wanted to show it off this week at Alabama camp.

It landed him an offer from the Crimson Tide.

The 2019 four-star cornerback went to Tuscaloosa, worked out and seemed to hit it off with the coaching staff. Now Alabama is the newest offer on his list.

According to Williams, everything about his Alabama visit was tremendous.

“My experience was amazing,” Williams said. “I did the camp two days in a row and the coaches worked us hard.

“I also took a visit around the school and the school was amazing. The coaches after the camp said they loved the way I play and how I can play multiple positions here and how dynamic I am at my position. (Coach Nick) Saban was coaching me at the camp and I took everything in and he's also the coach who offered me.”

Williams, who has racked up numerous offers from top national programs, said he was definitely impressed with Saban after spending two days around the Crimson Tide coach.

“I love the way he coaches and the way he carries himself as a coach and how he pushes you every rep,” Williams said.

It’s still early for the 2019 four-star but Williams did say Alabama will remain high on his list entering his junior season.

USC, LSU, Stanford, Oklahoma and Nebraska are some other schools that have captured Williams’ attention early in the recruiting process. A lot of top Serra prospects end up at USC but it also seems Williams wants to give all these national programs a chance.
