"I'm going to be a Bulldog," said Massaquoi. "I was at the school a couple of days ago and I knew it was the right place for me. The school is nice, the area is similar to up here and the football program is on the way up. Coach Richt and the whole staff there knows what they're doing, and I think we can bring a championship to UGA."
Massaquoi is ranked the No.91 prospect overall in the nation by Rivals100.com and has gamebreaking ability on the outside. He joins Independence teammate Joe Cox in verbally committing to Georgia. The future looks bright for Bulldog fans with another crop of talent beginning to form in this recruiting class.
"I want to be a part of something special there," he said. "They're in a great position to establish themselves as a great program for years to come, and I'd like to help them out. I don't know about immediate playing time or anything like that, I just want to do whatever it takes to improve and help the team win."
