One of the top quarterbacks in the West region for the 2020 class is Jack Miller and the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral standout has a big visit coming up.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect is headed back to Ohio State in two weekends for the Penn State matchup. It’s a huge game, a huge visit and it could be important as Miller works through his early recruitment.

“It’s very big and I’m looking at the atmosphere on game day and if I can see myself going to school there,” Miller said.

So far, the 2020 quarterback has landed offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Florida State, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Ohio State, Texas A&M and UCLA.

The Buckeyes have been highly involved with Miller for some time and that has not changed as he goes through the latter part of his sophomore season.

“I still talk to all of them every week,” Miller said.

No other visits are planned at this point but many could happen before the 2020 quarterback makes his commitment.

After a bunch of offseason trips, there’s no question Ohio State is an early top contender. Coach Urban Meyer is a big reason why the Buckeyes have piqued Miller’s interest.

“Ohio State was the first school I went to this summer and it was such a good experience,” Miller said this summer. “I like Urban a lot. He’s so cool and Urban is one of my favorite coaches that I’ve met so far.

“He’s just real and he told me I’m not going to be playing football forever so his goal is to develop me as a man, not to just play football. He said he’s going to prepare me for life after football. It’s definitely one of my top choices for sure.”
