Three-star offensive lineman Nolan MacMillan made the decision to attend Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School this year to increase his visibility to college coaches.
Now that his semester is over he is back home in Toronto, reflecting on his senior campaign and trying to sort through the recruiting process and what has transpired.
The 6-foot-6, 284-pound tackle officially visited Iowa last weekend and he was at Georgia Tech over the past couple of days. How did his trip to ACC country go?

"I really enjoyed it. We went to dinner with the coaches and toured the faciliites," MacMillan recalled. "We had some meetings then met with the strength coach, and then we got together with the team."
MacMillan's host in Atlanta was senior offensive lineman A.J. Smith, originally from Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit.
How would he compare his trips to Iowa and Georgia Tech?
"I'd say I enjoyed both trips. They were each unique in their own way. Atlanta's a big city where Iowa City isn't, at least compared to Atlanta.
"That's not really going to be a factor for me. I live in a big city right now, in Toronto, but I've also lived several other places. I was born in a very small town, so that's not going to be a big deal."
MacMillan said he is considering several other schools for official visits but has not yet set anything up.
Last week coaches from Virginia and elsewhere visited The Hun School before MacMillan left town.
"There are still numerous schools I'm considering for visits. I'm not really sure where I'll go yet. I'm trying to work through that.
"Lots of coaches have been coming through The Hun School. There are a bunch every week. Columbia came by my house in Toronto. I'm going to be narrowing down my options over the break. I'm not sure to what extent it will be narrowed down, but I'll do something."
In addition to Iowa and Georgia Tech, MacMillan holds offers from UConn, Louisville, Michigan State, Rutgers, South Florida and Virginia, among others.
He is rated the No. 45 prep school prospect in the nation by Rivals.com.
