DT Rashan Gary Paramus (N.J.) Catholic
The spotlight has been on Gary since he first blew up at the New Jersey Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour after his freshman year. Michigan looks like his top contender but a few others are still in the mix. Auburn, Michigan and Ole Miss have hosted Gary for official visits and he has an official visit scheduled to USC on Jan. 15. LSU, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State are in contention for his final official visit.
What he said: "I went to Auburn for the Iron Bowl so it had a good atmosphere. I'm waiting to see who their defensive coordinator will be. I love the coaches at Ole Miss. It's family first there. My old coach is at Michigan and it's going seeing him, Jabrill (Peppers), and Juwann (Bushell-Beatty). I still haven't talked to (Michigan defensive coordinator) coach (Don) Brown. I still need to talk to him. USC is an offer I always wanted. I was talking to Rasheem Green a couple days ago and he told me he was going to show me around. If I had a No. 1, I'd be committed. If my mom and I were on the same page, I'd be committed."
LB Aaron Hansford Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High
Hansford has had a hard time narrowing his list but released a top six of UCLA, Oregon, Maryland, Oklahoma, Michigan State and North Carolina. He's already used three official visits and has another one schedule to UCLA on Jan. 15. North Carolina or Oklahoma will get his last official visit on Jan. 22. If Oklahoma gets that official visit, Hansford will take an unofficial visit to North Carolina prior to National Signing Day.
What he said: "UCLA and Oregon have been showing a lot of love. I love coach (Ron) Burton from Michigan State. He's like my dad. They talk and act the same way. I started to get a good feel for Maryland and I think things are going the right direction."
LB Lyndell Wilson, Montgomery (Ala.) Carver
Alabama, Florida and Georgia are thought to be the leaders for Wilson. And while Alabama seems the most likely landing spot, Wilson insists Florida is his current leader. According to the five-star prospect, Alabama currently sits in second place with UGA running third. Wilson will visit all three programs in the coming month.
What he said: "The important things for me are the bond I have with the coaches and players, the academic rate and how fast I'll be able to get my degree and graduate. I want to major in photography or sports management."
WR Devwah Whaley, Beaumont (Texas) Central
After decommitting from Georgia, Whaley has a short list of Georgia, Arkansas and Texas. He plans to announce his college choice at the Under Armour All-America game.
What he said: "Early playing time is an important factor, and that's what, I wouldn't say based my decision, but whether I can go in and compete for the spot or compete for playing time."
DE Terrell Hall Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High
Hall has some tough decisions to make as we head down the home stretch. He has taken official visits to Florida and Florida State and has three more set for UCLA on Jan. 15, Alabama on Jan. 22, and Ole Miss on Jan. 29. Maryland is very much in the mix as well and there is a chance he takes an unofficial visit to College Park before his National Signing Day commitment.
What he said: "Florida set the tone for all my other official visits. Florida State was my best visit so far. I want to see if it feels the same at Alabama. Alabama is on even ground with Florida State and Ole Miss is up there too. Maryland is pushing really hard."
OT Jauan Williams Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll
Williams will have a hectic finish to his recruitment. He's only taken an official visit to Florida State and plans to take his remaining four in January. LSU, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Florida are in contention for those official visits but Florida State is the leader right now.
What he said: "I'm about 75-percent sure (that I'll commit to Florida State). I love the coaching staff and the players. I look at Rod (Johnson) as a big brother."
OG Terrance Davis Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha
Davis has slowly narrowed his list down over the last few months but is set to commit at the Under Armour All-America Game. His final three are Michigan, Maryland, and Florida.
What he said: "The closest thing to the NFL is the SEC. I think Michigan is the best education you can get. My relationship with coach Durkin at Maryland has grown tremendously since he was hired. I'd say it's pretty even with Michigan and Maryland."
LB Jeffrey McCulloch Houston (Texas) Aldine Davis
McColloch is focused on five schools and is expecting to commit on National Signing Day. He took early visits to Notre Dame, Stanford and Michigan but the Wolverines are out of the running. McColloch will take official visits to Texas on Jan. 15, Alabama on Jan. 22, and will take an unofficial visit to Texas A&M on Jan. 31.
What he said: "Notre Dame is more football friendly than Stanford. Stanford fits me best academically. I see Texas and Texas A&M all fighting for stability but it's not really going as planned."
LB Dontavious Jackson Houston (Texas) Elsik
Jackson has taken official visits to UCLA, Michigan, and Florida State, and he will take official visits to Alabama (January 22) and Florida (January 15). He plans to take unofficial visits to Texas Florida State, and LSU before Signing Day, and he will make his college announcement on Signing Day.
What he said: (On why people think Texas may be the favorite) "Probably because I've visited so much. It's a two-hour drive. My cousins live there. So they feel like it's the best situation for me. And me visiting really helped their opinion."
WR Elijah Stove Niceville, Fla.
Stove has been committed to Auburn for the better part of a year, but continues to get interest from other programs, including Florida and Miami. The Gators have convinced Stove to officially visit campus next month and have pitched the possibility of playing both ways in college.
What he said: "Florida told me that I would be playing both ways - which I really don't know if I could do in SEC football - but they're still fighting over whether they would use me at wide receiver or on defense."
WR Tino Ellis Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha
Ellis remains committed to Maryland despite overtures from several programs, including Alabama and Tennessee. He said he still plans on sticking with the Terrapins and isn't sure of official visit plans for next month.
What he said: (On sticking with the Terps through coaching drama) "It was hard at first, but I really thought about the whole process and I'm going there because of the school and not the coaches or anything like that. It's not about the coaches, but the college."
LB Rahshaun Smith Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Smith's recruitment started early and there were a few surprises sprinkled in. He committed to Clemson early in the process but decommitted so he could take official visits. Now Smith is set to commit at the Under Armour All-America Game and will be choosing among Clemson, LSU and Auburn.
What he said: "It was great to sit down with coach (Dabo) Swinney on my visit. Auburn has a lot to recruit with. I saw the depth chart at LSU and I know I could play early."

OT Patrick Hudson, Silsbee, Texas
Hudson is committed to Baylor and he plans to take his official visit there on Jan. 15. Texas, Texas A&M and Arkansas have kept in touch and he may visit Texas A&M on Jan. 22.
What he said: "The big thing was that the campus was smaller. That was about it. Everything is the same everywhere you go, but the campus was smaller."
WR Tyrie Cleveland, Houston (Texas) Westfield
Houston landed a commitment from Cleveland, a four-star receiver, in December but he's planning trips to TCU (Jan. 15) and Florida (Jan. 29) so there is some major competition for his signature. The Houston (Texas) Westfield standout said the loss of Houston position coach Drew Mehringer to Rutgers is a factor in him taking visits.
What he said: "They're still talking to me and I'm still open. Florida is the SEC, the best conference, and TCU throws the ball on almost every play."

CB Deontay Anderson Manvel, Texas
There are three official visit weekends left before National Signing Day and Anderson knows where his last three official visits will be. Texas will host him on Jan. 15, LSU on Jan. 22 and Ole Miss on Jan. 29. Anderson will commit on National Signing Day.
What he said: "I talk to Laquon (Treadwell) and Shea (Patterson) a lot. I look at LSU and Texas as 'DBU'."
OT Austin Myers Manvel, Texas
Myers, a three-star offensive lineman from Manvel, Texas, said he remains solidly committed to TCU but he's planning visits to Houston and Ole Miss as well next month. Committed to the Horned Frogs since February, Myers will visit TCU the weekend of Jan. 15 followed by Houston and then Ole Miss.
What he said: "I just want to make sure. I'm still committed but I'm open to seeing some other schools."
QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. Potomac (Md.) Bullis School
Haskins is one of the top storylines in the Under Armour All-America Game. He's been committed to Maryland for a long time and is viewed as one of the leaders of the recruiting class for the Terps but coaching changes have him looking around. Haskins took an official visit to Ohio State in early December and is considering taking official visits to Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M.
What he said: "I wouldn't say coach (Mike) Locksley not being at Maryland hurts their chances but it's different not having him around."
WR Nate Craig-Myers Tampa (Fla.) Catholic
Craig-Myers' recruitment has been full of twists and turns but it is starting to come to a close. He is taking official visits to Auburn on Jan. 15 and Ole Miss on Jan. 29. North Carolina is a major contender as well. Craig-Myers said he is hoping to visit Maryland and South Carolina before committing on National Signing Day.
What he said: "I'm closest to coach (Dameyune) Craig at Auburn. He's like my uncle. Coach (Larry) Fedora is doing amazing at North Carolina."
ATH Carlos Becker, Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola
According to Becker, N.C. State, Ole Miss and Florida State are in the running to secure his commitment. He plans to visit Ole Miss, Ohio State and Florida State in the coming month. Becker intends to announce his commitment following his final trip.
What he said: "I'm just looking to see where I feel comfortable. I want to make sure the coaching staff is going to be there until I graduate. That and I want to be comfortable and chill with the players."
OG Landon Dickerson Hudson (N.C.) South Caldwell
Dickerson has nearly finished his official visit schedule for January. Auburn and Florida State have already hosted him for official visits but Florida will get its chance on Jan. 15 and so will Alabama on Jan. 22. Tennessee is battling Georgia for Dickerson's last official visit on Jan. 29 but Tennessee has the edge. He is planning on committing on National Signing Day.
What he said: "I don't know if Florida State is my leader because of distance. The best schools geographically would be Tennessee or Georgia."
DL Shavar Manuel, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Manuel says there is a "50-50" chance he announces a verbal commitment sometime this week. His finalists are Florida, Florida State, LSU and USF. Manuel says he plans to visit Florida, Florida State and USF in January.
What he said: "It's about what's best for me. I don't like to regret things and I'm not into decommitting. That's why I haven't comitted yet."
OT Willie Allen River Ridge (La.) John Curtis
Allen has a top five of LSU, Georgia, Auburn, TCU and Ole Miss. He has already visited TCU and Georgia, and he plans to visit LSU (Jan. 15), Auburn (Jan. 22), and Ole Miss (Jan. 29).
What he said: "I have my top five which is LSU, Georgia, TCU, Auburn, and Ole Miss, which are all good schools - a good education, they put guys in the NFL, and are just good schools in general. I'm not committed anywhere yet, and I plan on making my decision sometime in the next month or signing day in a month and a half or so and just enjoying the process right now."
