Lewis is on the rise

Aldine, Texas outside linebacker Anthony Lewis is the next prospect at his talent-rich school to pick up several scholarship offers over the last few months.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound defender transferred from Aldine Nimitz to Aldine before last season. Now, Lewis is looking over quite a few offers and rising quickly as the summer pushes along.

"I've gotten offers from Air Force, Navy, Arizona, Kansas, Minnesota, Purdue, Nebraska, Central Florida, and Iowa State," Lewis said.
Lewis says this summer he hasn't had a chance to go to any camps yet, but he's looking to check out a few places before his senior season begins.
"In the fall I'll definitely go on some trips," Lewis said. "I may go to Iowa State and Rice this summer. I might go up to Minnesota to meet with the coaches."
Right now, Lewis says that he has an early top three but will wait until well into his senior season before making any sort of a commitment.
"Right now, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa State would be my top three," Lewis said. "I like the schedules that they play and they're giving me the chance to play early. I'm really looking hard at playing in the Big 12 right now."
