LB Robinson remains firm with Pack

The news of Tom O'Brien's departure at NC State was a surprise for linebacker Artemis Robinson. However, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder remains firm after giving his pledge just a few weeks ago.
"Oh yes, I'm still committed," he said. "I'm pretty confident about my decision."

Robinson touched on what he still likes about the Wolfpack.
"I love the atmosphere," he said. "I love being around the players and the school, the education.
"I love the education a lot. The fact Coach O'Brien won't be there isn't that big for me. It wasn't about the coaches; it's the school and education for me. When I decided to go there, it was the family atmosphere and I'm comfortable with everything. I've been around the school so much and I get along with Coach Tenuta and the defensive coordinator, Coach Archer."
Still, the news shocked Robinson.
"It surprised me," he said. "There were a lot of rumors about it before it actually happened, and I was surprised a little bit since NC State was bowl eligible this year and I thought everything would go smoothly."
Robinson held offers from Appalachian State, Duke, East Carolina, Elon, NC A&T, TCU and Wake Forest.
