Michael Lazarus does not feel like he's close to a commitment but he does have a leader and a visit to that school could be coming up soon.

"I can say Arizona State is probably the leader right now," Lazarus said. "I've been talking to coach (Paul) Randolph a lot and getting more connected with him. I'm trying to set things up for me to go down there, try to check things out and see how they are.
"I'm trying to set it up for either the Wisconsin game or the USC game. I don't want to push things too early but I can say right now as far as leaders they are the leader right now."
The Berkeley, Calif., three-star linebacker has the Sun Devils on top but even if his visit goes well he might wait on a commitment until after the season.
Washington has picked up its interest a great deal recently and the Huskies are trying to set up an official visit with Lazarus, who said Fresno State is getting even more involved as well.
Still, Arizona State could be tough to beat especially if the visit goes well.
"I just want to go down, check things out and see how they are and then I'll make my decision probably after the season," Lazarus said. "I want to see how things pick up, if they do pick up."
So far, the three-star prospect has been offered by Arizona State, Cal, Fresno State, San Jose State, Utah State and Washington State.
