Junior defensive end with two big offers

Xzavier Dickson is a big time recruit for the Class of 2011 from Griffin High School in the Peach State. Dickson, a 6-4 and 235 pound defensive end, plays for the No. 1 ranked team in the state of Georgia for Class 4A.
"We are having a good season so far," Dickson said. "We are undefeated and play Stockbridge this weekend. Last week I had two sacks, five tackles, three tackles for a loss, and one pass break up.

"I have improved my speed. I am faster, stronger and reading my keys better. I am just more experienced. But I know I need to keep working hard off the field. I have to work on my speed and strength."
According to Dickson he has a written offer from Alabama and a verbal offer from Auburn.
"Those schools plus FSU, FLA, LSU, and Georgia are all showing interest in me. I grew up a fan of Georgia and always liked their defense. They are always aggressive and fast. I like coach (Mark) Richt and that staff. They are good coaches."
So does that mean that the Dawgs have the early edge?
"Right now I like Alabama, Florida, Georgia, FSU, LSU and Tennessee. I am looking at early playing time and the coaching staffs. I know those two things will be important to me."
