Head coach Matt Campbell and his coaching staff are set to host a top Class of 2017 safety on an official visit soon.

Cincinnati Colerain three-star senior safety Keontae Jones, the younger brother of Cyclone freshman wide receiver Deshaunte Jones, says he will take his second official visit of the recruiting process to ISU next weekend, after making his first at Indiana over the next few days.

Jones is also expected to be with three-star teammate, offensive lineman Howard Watkins, next weekend. It’s the duo’s relationship with current Cyclone Deshaunte Jones that could pay dividends for the Cyclones down the road.

In addition to having offers from the Cyclones and Hoosiers, Jones also has Power-5 programs Illinois, Iowa, Louisville, Maryland, Purdue, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
