The 2017 four-star tight end from Roseville, Calif., has said an offer from the Cardinal would definitely be a big deal in his recruitment.
Although that has not happened yet, Jaggers said he had an excellent visit, got to stay overnight with a player to really get a feel for the program and that he could return this season.
"It was a great visit overall," Jaggers said. "I think I saw and did everything I wanted to.
"I got to build a good relationships with coach (Morgan) Turner and a few others including coach (David) Shaw. I also got to spend the night with Dalton Schultz and learn about life at Stanford."
The Stanford coaching staff has been complimentary to Jaggers, rated as the second-best tight end in the 2017 class by Rivals.com, and they want him to stay close to the program.
That should not be an issue since Jaggers has made it no secret he has a high level of interest in Stanford and it's expected he heads over there this season for at least one game.
"As far as recruiting, coach Turner and coach (Tavita) Pritchard said they liked what they saw and complimented me," Jaggers said. "They told me that we would be in touch and I should come out to a game this season."
So far, Jaggers has been offered by Arizona State, Colorado, Louisville, Michigan, Northwestern, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
