Chad Simmons is a Recruiting Analyst for Rivals.com. He was the expert on The Next Class on Fox Sports South from 2011-2015. He currently covers Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi.

"I am a Louisville Cardinal," said Thurman Geathers.

He announced it publicly July 4 in front of family and friends, but he has known of his decision for a few weeks.

"Oh yeah, I have known for a little while," he said. "I chose Louisville over Arkansas, Indiana and NC State. It was about the coaches and how I felt when I was there. I made my decision early in June."
