Is Owen still committed to Cuse

Outside linebacker/running back Mike Owen verbally committed to Syracuse back in April. Is he still on board?
"I'm still committed to Syracuse," said Owen. "But if other schools were to recruit me I'd be open to them, just to make sure I've made the right choice. I figure, if Syracuse is the place for me then I'll end up there even if I talk to other schools."

What other schools are interested in the 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect from Riverside, New York?
"West Virginia has offered me a scholarship, and they seem pretty interested in me," he said. "Syracuse is still where I plan on going though, unless some other schools get involved and impress me. I'll probably take some official visits just to see what's out there."
While it's been a long time since his decision, Owen is still attracted to Syracuse for the same reasons now that he was then.
"I committed there because I felt like they have the total package for me, and I still feel that way. The atmosphere is great, I love the facilities, the football program is solid and the coaching staff knows what they're doing. They communicate well with the players."
Owen is a three star prospect and is rated the No. 52 outside linebacker in the country.
