“I recently got offered by Central Michigan and I already have the one from Mississippi State,” Cook said. “I am starting to hear a lot from a lot of schools right now. Interest has really been picking up a lot lately.”
Cook measured in at the NIKE camp in Atlanta at 6-foot-5, 202 pounds. He also ran a head turning 4.6 second 40-yard dash. Cook is also a stand out on the basketball court where he has picked up three scholarship offers.
“Last weekend I went to the Arkansas-Auburn game last weekend,” Cook said. “This weekend I think I am going to go to the Mississippi State game. It was a really good game, Auburn really took it to them. I got to talk to coach Dunn at the game and all. Auburn has been recruiting me really hard lately.”
Cook runs the shuttle in 4.5 seconds and has a 35-inch vertical jump and does 11 reps on the bench press. He could project as a wide receiver, tight end, safety or linebacker on the college level.
“My top five right now are Mississippi State, Auburn, Georgia, Western Michigan and Clemson,” Cook said.
