In-state offer for 2014 DT

2014 defensive tackle Antoine White of Millville, N.J. is one name that has not been mentioned yet in the Garden State, but with one early offer and plenty of serious interest coming his way, that will definitely change in the coming months.
"Recruiting is very good," said White, who is 6-foot-3 and 255-pounds. "I've gotten a lot of letters from some nice schools and I'm happy to start the process."

White's process actually really began to take off in mid-August, which is when he received his first offer from Rutgers.
"It's a great college," said White. "It helps that they are very high academically for football players and it's nice that they are close to home. They have welcoming coaches and it's an overall great opportunity."
Besides the Rutgers offer, White has also been receiving serious interest from Boston College, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, NC State, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Old Dominion and Bucknell.
During the summer he attended camps at Rutgers, Boston College, Penn State and Temple.
"At Rutgers I stood out the most," he said. "At Penn State I also had a great camp, but at Temple they shied away from underclassmen and only really looked at seniors."
White has yet to visit any schools this season, but plans to check out Rutgers and Bucknell in the coming weeks. He has also been invited to games at Notre Dame, Boston College, Connecticut and Old Dominion.
Last weekend White started off his junior season in style with 18 tackles, a forced fumble and a sack.
"In the off-season I worked on getting my hand fighting better and making my first step quicker off the ball," said White. "I also learned to stay lower."
White and his Millville teammates will return to the field tonight to take on Mainland Regional.
