Expectations are high for Westbrook, who arrives at Oklahoma after a standout junior college career at Blinn. Westbrook has not disappointed. He enrolled in January, and he quickly staked his claim to a starting spot alongside Sterling Shepard at wide receiver. With a starting role in Lincoln Riley's high octane offense, which will be led by quarterback Baker Mayfield, Westbrook could put up some monster numbers. Keep an eye out for him as one of the Big 12s top wide receivers.

OT
Connor Williams
Texas
Connor Williams is another early enrollee who is looking to make an instant impact in the Big 12. The Longhorns offensive line has had some holes over the years, and Williams quickly turned heads in the spring with his play at tackle. He is now working at first team left tackle for offensive line coach Joe Wickline, and as such he will play a key role in the direction Texas takes on offense in 2015.

RB
Chris Carson
Oklahoma State
Carson arrives in Stillwater after a strong career at Butler C.C. in Kansas. Unlike everyone ahead of him on this list, Carson did not graduate in December, but when he signed, he knew the opportunity was there for him to make an impact. The Cowboys have a role available with Tyreek Hill dismissed from the program and Desmond Roland graduated. Carson likely will not be depended upon to carry the entire load, but he has quickly shown he is up to the task for a large portion of the work.

WR
John Burt
Texas
Texas is looking for a couple of big-play receivers with the departure of 2014's top receiving threats -- John Harris and Jaxon Shipley. In steps Burt. The Rivals100 receiver has made a strong impression and all indications are he will be in the starting lineup or high in the receiver rotation in Austin in the fall. Burt's ability to stretch the field and go up and get the ball has certainly turned heads.

WR
Jovon Durante
West Virginia
The West Virginia offense has produced some electric playmakers over the years and the Rivals250 wide receiver is already drawing attention in Morgantown. The Florida native is not a sure-fire starter, but it looks like he will be in the receiver rotation. It also looks like he will have a chance to make some big plays as a return man on special teams.

DE
Austin Roberts
Oklahoma
Roberts has not been in Norman long, but it has become increasingly clear he will play a big role for the Sooners. The standout from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M has quickly solidified his spot in the lineman rotation. The 6-foot-6 and 265-pound Roberts gave his pledge to the Sooners in June. He did not report until late August. However, he was ready to contribute once he did show up and at the very least it looks like he will be able to give Charles Tapper a little rest.
