Illinois corner high on Wolverines

Crete (Ill.) Monee cornerback Anthony Standifer estimates that he has about 18 scholarship offers so he has no shortage of options.
While Standifer plans on releasing a top five or a top seven in the next couple of weeks, he isn't shy about admitting that a couple of schools are already sticking out to him -- and apparently one in particular.

"I'm really liking Michigan," Standifer said. "I really like their coaching staff. I've got a lot of interest in them.
"I also like Wisconsin. They've got nice facilities. I haven't talked to their coaching staff because they haven't seen my film all the way."
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound prospect said Michigan and some other schools have asked him whether he would like to play corner or safety. Standifer tells schools that cornerback is his position of preference and that's where he projects in college.
So far he has visited schools like Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana and NIU.
"I'm supposed to be going to Michigan, Notre Dame, Iowa and Wisconsin but I haven't set the dates yet," Standifer said.
