Holmdel (N.J.) St. John Vianney wide receiver Ishmael Hyman had offers from Bowling Green and Old Dominion heading into this week but he picked up a big one just yesterday.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Garden State receiver visited Rutgers and picked up an offer from the Scarlet Knights.

"I went up there at like 8:45 (Monday morning) and I met with the guy that's recruiting me. He was showing me around the facilities and everything was nice. I went in the weight room and watched them lift, and then I met with Coach Smith, the D-Backs coach. He's also the recruiter for my area.
"He talked to me and said he liked me and then I met with the academics guy and he was real guy. At the end they offered me."
How did Hyman react to the offer?
"I've been thinking about them a lot," Hyman admitted.
"I had been thinking, 'You know, it's close. It's right around my house. I don't know if I want to be that close.' But I had a really good feeling up there."
Hyman said he doesn't have any favorites even after the Rutgers offer.
He will visit Delaware on Saturday and then Penn State on April 21.
