"I'm finally getting some action," Holmes said.

The Roseville (Calif.) Oakmont three-star wide receiver has landed offers from Ohio, San Jose State and Sacramento State so far with Ohio being the biggest surprise.
"They sent me a letter about two or three months back," Holmes said. "I ended up calling the coach, kept in contact with him and I built a relationship with him and they liked what they saw on tape and gave me that offer."
Those three offers are good but the 6-foot-3, 195-pound prospect is looking for more.
Holmes recently took an unofficial visit to UCLA and camped at San Diego State plus he said most of the Pac-12 along with Nevada and some other programs continue to show interest.
The Bruins are definitely a team of interest for Holmes, rated as the No. 83 receiver in the 2014 class by Rivals.com. His recent visit to Westwood went well and he hopes to keep hearing from the UCLA coaching staff.
"I've been hearing from a lot of schools," Holmes said. "They really want to see me at camp. They want to see what I can do in person.
"It was great at UCLA. I loved the campus. I got one-on-one time with the wide receivers coach. I really liked it."
