Hokies still lead for in-state WR

For a while wide receiver Randall Dunn has said his leader is Virginia Tech and that still hasn't changed. He still plans on taking three official visits before Signing Day, but isn't ruling out the possibility of committing if his visit to Blacksburg goes well later in January.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound wide receiver from Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes certainly looks the part of a contributor at the college level. Several things have him as perhaps a strong lean to Virginia Tech.

"The whole Hokie nation thing is a big reason," Dunn said. "I really enjoyed myself when I went up there. The fact that all four of their (top) receivers are leaving is something else. There's going to be an opening for some playing time."
Dunn still plans on taking official visits to North Carolina (Jan. 11) and Virginia (Jan. 25). He was planning on rescheduling a trip to Penn State, but that's looking less likely that it did a couple of weeks ago.
"Me and Coach Kenney had talked about that the last time he called. It's a little bit up in the air at this point. They're a little bit (behind) the others."
Dunn also said there was a chance he may commit to Virginia Tech if his official visit goes well.
"I've heard from everybody that I think is going to get involved at this point," he explained. "I'm leaving (his decision date) totally up in the air. It could take me until the Virginia trip or I could make it before."
