Henderson sets three visits

One of the more under-rated players out West this year is Oakland (Calif.) McClymond’s two way standout Patrick Henderson. Henderson had a solid showing at the Nike Camp at Stanford back in May and has set his first three official visits.
Henderson, 5-10, 170 pounds plays both corner and receiver but is getting recruited mostly to play on defense. He shined at the NorCal Nike Camp where he clocked a 4.53 in the 40, 4.18 in the shuttle and jumped 30 inches in the vertical. As a junior, he totaled 59 tackles, picked off four passes and forced three fumbles.

“Patrick had another good year for us this year,” McClymond’s coach Alonzo Carter said. “He’s a shut down corner who can run. Recruiting is starting to pick up now that our season is over and he’s going to be taking his trips in the next few weeks here.
“His first visit will be to San Diego State (Dec 17) and then to Oregon State (Jan 7.). He was going to visit Utah (Jan. 14) but with Meyer leaving, he’s going to take a visit to Boise State that weekend instead. All of those schools have offered him and Oregon State is where I really think he’ll end up.”
