Georgia RB will take juco route

One of the Peach State’s top players will have to take a detour to the D-I level.
Three-star Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County running back/safety Cedric Hodges had received interest from a long list of major programs this year, but will have to take the junior college route before he can play for any of them.

“He’s going to have to go to junior college first,” said Houston County coach Doug Johnson. “I’m not sure where he’s going to wind up yet, but that’s the direction he’ll have to go.”
Hodges (6-0, 180, 4.45) had received interest from Georgia, Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, among others, this season.
He is rated the No. 36 running back in the nation by Rivals.com.
