Georgia chasing several top DLs

There's not a more important position of need for the Georgia Bulldogs' 2005 recruiting class than the defensive line. The Dawgs have commitments from three top prospects in the fold and are in the hunt for several others.
"Georgia's main need is definitely across the defensive line," UGASports.com's Jeremy Patterson said. "They needed defensive linemen last year and that is also the position of need this year. You lose a guy like David Pollack on that defensive line, and there's virtually immediate playing time available.

"That's one thing that's allowing Georgia to have such a good recruiting class right now, especially along the defensive line, is they're able to offer that immediate playing time," Patterson added. "I would look for [Georgia] to sign up to five or six defensive linemen this year."
Find out who those remaining D-line recruits are and where they stand with them in our exclusive interview with Patterson.
