VILLA RICA, Ga. – Lining up to be one of the best in his class, college teams are already in love with 2026 Carrollton High School quarterback Julian Lewis. Lewis has nine offers down and has started to make the rounds visiting schools. The one coaching staff that got him on campus in April was Ole Miss.
Lewis made the trip from Georgia to Oxford seeing the Rebels’ spring game.
“It was nice,” Lewis said. “They had already offered me so there was a lot of love there. There were a lot of big-time recruits there. They had a five-star quarterback there from Cali.”
With all that was going on, Mississippi’s coaching staff gave Lewis a full visit experience.
“I went to the meetings, the meetings before the game, we watched their spring game and took pictures afterwards,” Lewis stated.
Lewis continued giving details to the pre-game meeting under offensive coordinator/quarterback coach Charlie Weis Jr.
“It was cool,” Lewis said. “It was loud. They were going over the plays and game plan. They’ve been practicing against the team they were going against, so they knew what to expect.”
Seeing Lane Kiffin’s offense live was exciting for the rising talent.
“It was nice,” Lewis stated. “They definitely threw the ball a lot. I definitely enjoyed that.”
Two other SEC schools may see Lewis soon.
“I am going back to Georgia, going to one of their camps, and I am going to Bama; those are the only ones I know about for right now,” Lewis shared.
