Size and speed: 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds. Watts has a 420-pound bench press, 485-pound squat, and a 300-pound power clean.

Statistics: Watts graded at 87.5-percent with 149 knockdowns as a junior.
Favorite schools: Georgia, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Stanford, Alabama, Auburn, Illinois, Duke.
Skinny: Watts could be the top offensive lineman in Georgia and one of the tops in Southeast. He is very skilled in run and pass blocking and is a very athletic and driving blocker. Watts knows that offensive linemen do not get enough credit for the success of their teams.
“I think that the offensive line is one of the most skilled positions on the field,” he said. “It’s a very demanding and challenging position.”
Watts is very intense on the field and in the classroom. He carries a 3.8 grade point average and has taken the SAT.
“I got a 1,010, but I’m not happy with that. I’ll take it again.”
Watts is not satisfied and is working hard everyday.
“I’ve been hitting the weight room. I am in the best lifting shape that I have ever been in,” he said. “I’m trying to get my feet faster. I’m working on getting more agile and flexible.”
Watts’ hard work has paid off. He currently has offers from Georgia Tech and South Carolina, and feels like Stanford and Georgia are close to offering. Watts is receiving attention from new schools all the time. So what teams lead for his services and what does he like about them?
Georgia: “I like the tradition they have up in Athens. Coach Richt is making that team into something special.”
Georgia Tech: “First off it’s a great school. They are making me feel wanted and I like how they run their practices. I like the way the offensive line coach dealt with the players. They have the ability to produce great players.”
South Carolina: “When I think of South Carolina, I think of Lou Holtz. Lou Holtz is a legend. He has taken Notre Dame to some of their greatest days.”
Stanford: “Stanford is the No. 1 University. If you graduate from that school, you can do anything you want.”
So what are some things that are going to play a factor in his decisions?
“I’m going to go where it feels right,” he said. “I want my family to come see me play. That does mean a lot to me.”
Watts doesn’t plan on attending any summer camps. Instead, he’ll train with his team in order to compete for the 3A state title.
