There are a lot of moving parts in Tallahassee right now and it is clearly affecting the Seminoles recruiting class. Rivals100 defensive back AJ Lytton, a longtime Florida State commit, updates his status after hearing all of the rumors surrounding Jimbo Fisher's job status.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"I've been talking to coach Odell," Lytton said. "I'm committed to the school, not the coach but it would be great to have them there. As a recruit we want to know how coach is feeling and when you are going to make your decision.

"I'm hearing from Georgia, Michigan, Alabama, and Maryland," he said. I'll be going to Alabama on December the 8th."

RIVALS' REACTION

Lytton will be a hot commodity if he ends up decommitting but he could end up staying with Florida State if/when a new head coach is announced. Lytton's dream school has always been Florida State and a new coach that he may already know or feel comfortable with would go a long way towards him remaining committed to the Seminoles.

Still, Lytton's official visit to Alabama is not thrilling for Florida State fans. Crimson Tide defensive backs coach Derrick Ansley went to see Lytton recently and co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Mike Locksley is a major recruiting force in the Maryland area and knows Lytton well. Both factors play into Alabama's hand.

Georgia could also be in line for an official visit but nothing is set at the moment.
