FSU commit Brewton keeping options open

Class of 2015 three-star safety Calvin Brewton of Miami (Fla.) Miami Central committed to Florida State in January, but admits his recruiting process is not really closed.
The 5-foot-11, 171-pound Brewton - ranked No. 29 at his position and No. 57 in Florida - said he plans on taking all of his official visits, and said Notre Dame and Georgia are likely destinations.

He said he wasn't sure what it'd take for him to de-commit from the Seminoles, a team he committed to over the phone after regular conversations. Since committing, he's visited Tallahassee three times this offseason and continues to keep in touch on a weekly basis.
"We just talk about how everything is going down here, and everything that's going on up there," he said.
As for playing time, Brewton said "I just have to come in and work."
He chose Florida State because he likes his chances of making it to the NFL should he have success there.
"I like everything about them," he said. They put DBs into the league every year and they have the perfect scheme for me. I felt like I was the perfect fit."
Brewton finished last season with 35 tackles and 12 passes broken up.
