Four-way tie for Bond after visit

Windsor (N.C.) Bertie offensive tackle Travis Bond has now taken official visits to three of his four favorites and his last trip is coming up next weekend.
If the massive 6-foot-7, 330-pound tackle has a favorite he's certainly doing a good job of not tipping his hand. Everything is even between the four finalists for Bond after his most recent visit, which he took to East Carolina over the weekend.

"Oh, it went real good," Bond explained after returning home from Greenville.
"All the coaches and players explained everything to me and told me how it is down there. I had a wonderful time. I checked out the academic program and stuff like that.
"Then I went to the banquet they have for their seniors and I went out with my host, (offensive lineman) Travis (Melvin). It was a great trip. I liked it a lot."
The three-star lineman had already taken official visits to Michigan (October 24) and NC State (November 28), both of which went similarly well. Bond will be taking his last official visit to North Carolina this coming weekend. After that he plans on trying to sort everything out.
"Well, I've been to three so there's just one more," he said. "Like I've said before, they're all about the same. I've done the same thing at each (school) but I've been able to talk more with the players and coaches. I've learned a lot about the coaches from talking to the players.
"I'll probably be making my decision right around Signing Day."
Bond is ranked the No. 27 offensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com.
