THE LATEST: Isaah Crocker is not wasting his time hitting the road for official visits.

The four-star wide receiver from Sacramento (Calif.) Inderkum will head to Nebraska this weekend for its season opener against Arkansas State.

It could be a huge visit because Crocker is really looking forward to seeing the game-day atmosphere in Lincoln and getting a better feel for the coaching staff including position coach Keith Williams.

Crocker, the top-rated receiver in Northern California and a Rivals100 prospect, recently released a top five of Alabama, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State and UCLA. Cal could also be a contender since he has a lot of connections to that school.

Nebraska and the three Pac-12 schools on his top list have been involved with Crocker for a long time. The Crimson Tide offered this summer after the four-star worked out at summer camp.

IN HIS WORDS: “Everything I’ve imagined (is what Crocker wants to see during his trip). My dad loves Nebraska. Hopefully, I can get the full experience and the Nebraska love I see and hear about.”

RIVALS’ REACTION: This is going to be a crucial visit for Crocker, who seems to like everything about Nebraska football and he made it a point to get to campus this weekend.

There was some discussion that Crocker would postpone the trip to Lincoln this weekend until later in the season but the four-star wanted to get to see the Huskers as soon as possible so it’s going to happen for the season opener.

There’s no doubt Nebraska is a major player in his recruitment.

However, Oregon and Oregon State will absolutely play huge roles moving forward as well and Alabama and UCLA are also in his top five and have to be taken seriously.

Crocker has raved about the Ducks throughout his recruitment and he has a bunch of former TMP Elite 7on7 teammates playing with the Beavers. That could influence him moving forward as well. Former TMP standout Lamar Jackson plays for the Huskers so that's a connection, too.

The Sacramento Inderkum standout definitely has a top list and Nebraska gets first crack at impressing him this weekend. It could be huge for the Huskers.
