One of the premier running backs in the state of Texas in the 2026 cycle is narrowing down his recruitment.

Four-star Humble (Texas) Atascocita running back Cardae Mack is now to 10 schools: Texas Tech, Houston, SMU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Oregon, USC, TCU, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Mack ranked as the No. 19 running back prospect in the 2026 class as well as the No. 37 player in the state of Texas. The 5-foot-10, 190 pound back had a breakout sophomore campaign in which he ran for 1,370 yards and 18 touchdowns on 148 carries.

Mack recently visited Texas A&M for their matchup against Notre Dame to which he said, "It was great. I enjoyed every moment of it. The stadium, that atmosphere is unreal."

He also has plans to visit Missouri, Tennessee, and Ole Miss this season.
