Four-star OT picks Rutgers

Union City, New Jersey offensive tackle Josue Matias entertained interest from schools all over the country, but in the end it was a school in his backyard that won out.
On Sunday the four-star prospect decided he wants to stay close to home. Just like that the recruiting process has come to a close for the nation's No. 25 offensive tackle.

"I'm committed to Rutgers," Matias confirmed on Sunday afternoon.
"It was the chance to stay close to home and have my mom watch all of my games. Also, we'll be winning a national championship."
Matias is verbal commitment No. 22 for the Scarlet Knights. He is Rutgers' third four-star commitment. Needless to say, the coaches were pretty excited when they heard the news.
"They were excited," he said. "They had the Dominican anthem playing and everything."
Matias was on his official visit to Rutgers over the weekend. He said he is solidly committed to the Scarlet Knights.
