RIVALS' REACTION...

Hobbs is a special athlete that could line up almost anywhere along the defensive line. He has great quickness and his hand techniques have really come a long way since he burst onto the scene at the Charlotte Rivals Camp in the spring. Hobbs still has wrinkles in his game that need to be ironed out before he is ready to take on SEC linemen. There is a lot of work to be done by the strength and conditioning staff to get him physically prepared for the big step up in competition but his overall athleticism and how quickly his hand techniques have progressed should give Vols fans confidence he'll turn out to be a difference maker.
