Florida Gators offer 8th grade QB Harrison Bailey following satellite camp

The Latest: Harrison Bailey has yet to set foot in a high school classroom, but that hasn't stopped college coaches from offering scholarships. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound quarterback added an offer from Florida to his list on Thursday, less than 24 hours after working out in front of the Gators coaches at at satellite camp in the Atlanta area. Florida joins North Carolina and Miami on Bailey's list.

In His Words: "It's always good to be on the field and have the Attention of big time coaches like the Florida staff. They were excited about being at the camp and I could feel the energy of the coaches. To have them watch me throw just shows me that all the hard work is paying off.

Rivals Reaction: Bailey worked out for Georgia earlier this week and the Bulldogs passed on offering, but apparently Florida saw all the needed while working him out at the satellite camp event. Bailey has already visited Florida once and will likely visit again next month, so while his recruitment still has a long way to go I think it's a smart move by the school to enter the mix.
